About Us

We are minionKIDS – a Kindertagespflege (licensed small-group childcare) for children from birth through preschool age, in the charming old pharmacy at Semperplatz 5 in Hamburg-Winterhude. If you are looking for a Tagesmutter (a licensed childcare provider) in Winterhude, you have come to the right place: instead of one single Tagesmutter, your child is cared for by a steady team of qualified professionals – with all the benefits of a small group, and a familiar caregiver always there for your child. Since December 2024 we have welcomed children here in a spacious 200 square meters (about 2,150 square feet), with plenty of heart, dependable daily routines, and organic meals cooked fresh every day.

Our goal is to bring happy children and happy parents together: flexible hours let us respond to what each family truly needs – including parents who work shifts, students, and single parents. Our work rests on a sense of safety, loving attention, and secure attachments to consistent caregivers.

Dear parents, my name is Astghik Ivers. I was born in 1992, I'm married, and I'm a mother of two myself.

Helping children feel safe and secure as they take their first steps in the world is my true passion. Ever since my year of voluntary social service and my training as a preschool teacher, early childhood education has been at the center of my life. As a self-employed childcare provider (since 2022), I create exactly the environment little ones need every day: protected, family-like, and tailored to them as individuals.

Creativity and movement shape our everyday life together. We dance, paint, and read a lot – nurturing imagination and motor skills through play. To keep meeting the children's needs, I regularly continue my professional training, always guided by one principle: "Understand first – then act."

Besides German, I speak Armenian and Russian very well, giving the children a naturally multilingual environment. An open and honest exchange with you as parents is the most important foundation for successful childcare.

I'm really looking forward to meeting you in person!

Dear parents, my name is Hasmik Khachatryan. I was born in 1992, I'm married, and I'm a mom of two myself.

Accompanying children on their first exciting steps into the world is truly close to my heart.

For many years, the daycare center was my professional home. As a state-certified early childhood educator, I experienced firsthand, day after day, what children really need to thrive, and I gained a wealth of experience along the way. In December 2024, I fulfilled a long-held dream with minionKIDS and opened my own home-based child care – so I could offer the youngest children an even more individual, family-like kind of care. My own path here was a bit unusual: I originally studied theology and completed a master's degree, which to this day gives me a mindful, values-based perspective on how we spend our days together. Music and movement are also close to my heart – as a trained dance teacher, I bring creativity and rhythm into our everyday life naturally and playfully.

With me, your children also grow up multilingual: besides German, I speak Armenian and Russian fluently, and I also bring basic knowledge of sign language. Trust is the foundation of good childcare. That's why an open, honest exchange with you as parents matters so much to me.

I'm really looking forward to getting to know you and your child in person!

Early Childhood Educator

Dear parents, my name is Beyza Yilmaz. I'm 40 years old, a native of Hamburg, and I live with my family in Alsterdorf.

Supporting people has always been my path in life. After working in elder care, the birth of my daughter inspired me to start fresh and train as an early childhood educator. It was the best decision I ever made, because working with children brings me so much joy. As a qualified childcare provider, I've gained plenty of hands-on experience with infants and toddlers as well as in preschool-age care. To me, every child is an individual with their own unique needs – and that's exactly what makes every day so exciting and full of wonderful surprises. An open, multilingual environment matters to me: besides German, I speak Turkish fluently. It flows naturally into our everyday life and is a lovely bonus for children growing up multilingual.

An honest, trusting partnership with you as parents is the foundation of loving childcare, as far as I'm concerned.

I'm truly looking forward to meeting you and your child soon!

Early Childhood Educator

Dear parents,

my name is Diana Barseghyan. I was born in 1980, I'm married, and I'm a mother of four myself.

Giving children a loving, dependable, and safe environment, and accompanying them on their little journeys of discovery, is far more than a job to me – it's my calling. The daycare center was my professional home for a long time. After earning my bachelor's degree in education and teaching methods, I worked for many years as a preschool teacher in my home country of Armenia, helping shape everyday life for the group – an experience I still draw on today. Starting in November 2026, I'm delighted to pick up right where I left off as a cooperating partner at minionKIDS. My path has been shaped by solid professional knowledge and a real joy in working with children. From my training and experience, I know what children need for happy development, and I gladly take on responsibility – making sure every child is accompanied as individually, patiently, and age-appropriately as they need is especially important to me.

With me, your children also grow up multilingual: Armenian is my native language, and I also speak fluent Russian and, of course, German. What matters most to me is an honest, trusting exchange with you as parents – it's the only way childcare can truly succeed.

I'm really looking forward to getting to know you and your child in person soon!
